The Winding Path

I am a producer for the daily public affairs talk show "Up To Date" at Kansas City's NPR Station, KCUR 89.3

If you would have asked me 25 years ago what I would be doing with my life I never would have guessed I would be where I am today. 

I joined the Marine Corps after high school with a road map that led anywhere but here. After honorably serving I struggled to find my way in the civilian sector. I tried to follow the path of others.

During college I began exploring the various ways to tell a story –falling in love with every style. I finally realized I found my path and had the support system I needed to succeed.

Through internships and my role as a producer at KCUR, I have had the opportunity to work with various mediums. I have shared stories dealing with social and political issues, human interest, health care, sports, art and music.
